Part II

1. Based on the information gathered, what do you think the emphasis of the preschool class which you observed?

Based on the information gathered, I think that the emphasis of the preschool class which I observed is to have fun while the kids are on the process of learning the four fundamental target of education; reading, writing, listening and speaking. The kids were very interesting to be with. Since time immemorial, I really love kids and I love to take good care and watch over my young sisters. That’s why I shifted my course. Before, I was a BSED Student majoring English Subject, through God’s grace I’m on the right path for my right career in life.

2. Having point out the emphasis of the preschool class, what do you think is the theory guiding its early literacy instruction?

Having point out the emphasis of the preschool class, I think the theory guiding its early literacy instruction is the theory of Social Constructivist Theory by Lev Vygotsky. This theory focused on the social interaction between individuals. According from the famous quotes “No man is an island.” and “Two heads are better than one.”Thus, individual needs someone to live with. Thus, a group of people will lead to success if only the group of individual use their knowledge, skills and talents in a good way for the good of all humankind.
