Merry Christmas to all my dear bloggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear bloggers,

The God of peace and love in me, greets the God of peace and love in you. Christmas is the most awaiting and exciting season here in our country.
Yesterday, when I took my examination about STATISTICS subject, I was so amazed because, from the third floor building of Christ the King College, I and my classmates saw the high school and elementary students from the public schools had their parade. They brought the lantern torch. It is so nice to see them on the street. It seemed that I saw billions of stars from the heaven above with the different colors of the light marching. The night in the city was lighted by the students and children...and I forget that I did not yet finish answering my test question given to me by Professor Sherwin S. Lozada. I hurried answering it and after I finished it, I asked permission from Sir Lozada to go to the street to wathch the parade. I run downstairs and started to watch the students and children marching from the high way to the plaza. OH! What a nice night!!!!!!!!!!! They are like tiny ants bringing big stars and marching on the street. Sad to say that everytime we have our class and examination, we are not allowed to bring our cellphones. I left my cellphone with camera at home that's why I did not get even a single photo from the inspiring event.
I was on my way home when I saw the lantern torch from a far that was burning. The kids shouted and panic. I stepped closer. OH! MY GOD! I shouted! They ask my help. Then, one of the kids got the torch lantern and through it near the gate. Then, I told to the kid, "Oh! get it and through it away a far from the gate to avoid the house to be burned." Then, the other kid got it and through it into the lake. Thanks oh God! That finally, the lantern torch lost it's fire. Then, I rushed my way home because, it's already 8:30 o'clock in the evening. I need to be at home before 9:00 because, that is our curfew time.
Sir Edgar, Maam Adith and I attended the dawn mass. Father Joel Lusat is the mass celebrant. The Dawn Mass started from December 16 to 25, 2011. This is the most perspiring yet, interesting event every Christmas season. We started to celebrate the coming of Jesus with the most interesting event. Thank you!!!!

Ideal Teacher

An ideal teacher is the one we respect from our heart. He/she acts as a guide to the students, while not pushing them too much. Such a perfect motivates them and boosts their morale. He/she tries to encourage the students and refrains from criticizing them. The perfect teacher prefers to give positive motivation to his/her students. His/her comments are always constructive in nature. He/she serves as our friend, guide, educator, confidante, and a blend of all the good qualities one can posses. Such a teacher shapes the entire life of the students. If everyone in this world gets an ideal teacher, he/she won’t have to look back in his/her life ever.

Qualities Of A Perfect Teacher

Problem Solver
Students have a tendency to assume that their teacher will come up with a solution for all their problems. This is the toughest test of a teacher-student relationship. Teachers are largely responsible to solve the problems of their pupils, without expecting anything in return. It is the main yardstick of being an ideal teacher.

Understands Student Psychology
It is very important for a teacher to understand the psychology of his/her pupils. Every student is different from the other and will react differently to situations. All students cannot be equated and therefore, need individual attention. An ideal teacher knows where the students lack and what their requirements are. He/she never fails to comprehend the needs of students and tries his/her level best to fulfill them.

An Idol For Students
An ideal teacher leaves a life-long impression on his/her students and impacts their mind in a positive way. She is a much valued asset, without whom one can’t imagine a life. In fact, perfect teachers are as important as our parents. Not even a single day of our life will seem to be complete without them. They are the ones, whom the students can idolize and look up to.

A Good Guide
Children of a certain age trust their teachers, even more than their parents. Therefore, it is the responsibility of an ideal teacher to guide the pupil like his/her own child. Such a teacher shows students the right path under all circumstances and never shies away from his/her duties. In fact, he/she is always there by the student’s side, at the time of need.

A Motivator
An ideal teacher never lets the limitations of his/her students restrict their vision. He/she constantly motivates them to reach ahead and broaden their horizon. A teacher should encourage and inspire his/her pupils to think beyond their confines and help them realize their talents as well as the need to pursue them with diligence.

My teacher is my idol

My teacher is my idol

You're in a bad time
even though in school you have to pretend you're fine
I'm sorry you're in a rough time.

Supply teachers, the past two days, no idea what to do,
the class is out of control,
where did you go, I missed you so
seems like its been forever, since you've been gone.

You told me you're sick, this made me feel bad
saying everything hurt, made me feel sad.
Because without you,
there is no hope in our classroom.

There really is no classroom without it's teacher
staring at the supply, he told me you were at a meeting,
he really didn't know, he made it up, he was a supply, didn't mean he should lie.

But the next day you came, you looked fine,
but pretended to be okay,
but see you're the true teacher here.
Because, even though you still felt sick
you came to teach us
for that, you deserve this poem,
a true teacher equals my idol
and that's where this poem gets its title,
a true teacher equals my idol,
a true teacher equals you,
i love you for everything you do for us,
so this is a must,
remember its everything you do,
so here's my thanks to you.

Poetry for Best Teachers on Teacher' Day

Star Teacher

I always love your class;
Your teaching helps me see,
That to have a happy life,
Learning is the key.

You understand your students;
You're sensitive and smart.
You're a skillful teacher;
I knew it from the start.

I'm grateful for your wisdom
For the teacher that you are;
You're a very good person,
And as a teacher, you're a star!

Thank You, Teacher

Thank you, skillful teacher,
For teaching me to be
A stronger, smarter person,
Academically.

Thank you, favorite teacher
For acting like a friend,
And taking time to show me,
Lessons hard to comprehend.

Thank you for your caring
And lots of other stuff;
For all the things you gave me,
I can't thank you enough.

A Teacher for All Seasons Poem

A teacher is like Spring,
Who nurtures new green sprouts,
Encourages and leads them,
Whenever they have doubts.

A teacher is like Summer,
Whose sunny temperament
Makes studying a pleasure,
Preventing discontent.

A teacher is like Fall,
With methods crisp and clear,
Lessons of bright colors
And a happy atmosphere.

A teacher is like Winter,
While it's snowing hard outside,
Keeping students comfortable,
As a warm and helpful guide.

Teacher, you do all these things,
With a pleasant attitude;
You're a teacher for all seasons,
And you have my gratitude!

GOD MADE TEACHERS . . .
Author Unknown

God understood our thirst for
knowledge, and our need to be led
by someone wiser;
He needed a heart of compassion,
of encouragement, and patience;
someone who would accept
the challenge regardless of the
opposition;
Someone who could see potential
and believe in the best in others . . .
So He made Teachers

My Teachers

God the Teacher tells me: "Be unconditional!"
I tell God: "I am trying."

Man the teacher tells me: "Be impartial!"
I tell man: "I already am."

Dream the teacher tells me: "Be jovial!"
I tell Dream: "I am practicing."

Reality the teacher tells me: "Be practical!"
I tell Reality: "Alas, will I, Can I ever be practical?"

By Sri Chinmoy (from "The Wings of Light")

My Five Teachers

My poetry teacher taught me
How to cry.
My philosophy teacher taught me
How to dream.
My religion teacher taught me
How to bind life.
My yoga teacher taught me
How to find Love.
My liberation teacher taught me
How to create Peace.

Special Teacher Poetry

Wonderful Teacher

With a special gift for learning
And with a heart that deeply cares,
You add a lot of love
To everything you share,
And even though
You mean a lot,
You'll never know how much,
For you helped
To change the world
Through every life you touched.
You sparked the creativity
In the students whom you taught,
And helped them strive for goals
That could not be bought,
You are such a special teacher
That no words can truly tell
However much you're valued
For the work you do so well.
- Author Unknown

Oh teacher, Oh teacher!

My test isn't signed
Because somehow
My parents went blind
Now, don't say it's my fault,
They left their hands in the bank vault.

Oh teacher, Oh teacher
Do you know why
I was born without wings
And so cannot fly
Thus I am late
Didn't have breakfast,
So if you don't mind,
Pass me a plate.

Oh teacher, Oh teacher!
I've failed again
Please don't scold me,
Now you'll see why,
I was thinking about
Having an eagle's brain.

Reading Skills

Here are four different kinds of reading.

  • Skimming - running the eyes over quickly, to get the gist
  • Scanning - looking for a particular piece of information
  • Extensive reading - longer texts for pleasure and needing global understanding
  • Intensive reading - shorter texts, extracting specific information, accurate reading for detail.

Exercise

Using these descriptions, how would you read the following? Match the different types of reading with the categories below. Decide which one requires you to skim or to scan the text. Which one needs detailed Intensive reading? What type of text do you read Extensively - for pleasure?

Write down your answers - then click on the “answer” to check them.

You might have had other answers, but you can see there are different ways in which we take in written information.

Now, what use is this to us? - It can help to save us time.

Learn which material needs which skill and you can get through more work.

For example, you can scan an index or contents page to search for one particular item in a theoretical book to help with an assignment. When you find the term, look at the chapter and scan it - you should soon be able to see if it will help in your assignment.

What about the other meanings of different ways to read ?

Mother knows the best

What is sweeter than a good mother? I hope you are blessed with such a special, precious gift. "Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living" and since, we all have a mother who brought us into the world. But a woman is not automatically a mother; she only becomes one when she gives birth to a child, as Rajneesh nicely puts it: "The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. "

It is fascinating to discover the multitude of the facets a Mom's love has and I will point some of them below to emphasize the beauty of a mother's love:

1. Pure- A mother's love is the purest love on Earth; it represents the highest level of sacrifice and since her baby is born, till the day she dies, a mother is bound to the fruit of her womb and her love is always poured on her child. Caring from the first heartbeats of her young, trough the long feverish nights and counseling the young teenage heart that has fallen in love for the first time...

2. Unconditioned- All these are done without expecting something material in return, except maybe for a loving embrace. How does she know what that baby will treat her like when he grows up? Will he respect her or not? Will he take care of her in her old age or simply forget about her? She doesn't even care, all she cares about is to do her best to keep her child safe, giving him an education, a shelter, all she can do to offer him more and better than she had. As the good old Danish proverb says "A rich child often sits in a poor mother's lap."

3. Steady ,always the same- In "Beloved" (1987) Toni Morrison adorably puts it in the picture showing that "Grown don't mean nothing to a mother. A child is a child. They get bigger, older, but grown? What's that supposed to mean? In my heart it don't mean a thing."

4. Tender as well as most powerful- Tender as a baby's kiss is the way a mother can be, still, we see her fighting like a young lioness for the protection of her child, don't you dare harm him in any way whatsoever! She has this "mother instinct" buried deep within her soul and mixed with the purest love, it makes her the most powerful human being. "Who takes the child by the hand takes the mother by the heart." - German Proverb

5. Forgiving - Second chances do not exist ...because she gives a billion second chances if we can call them so. From the first steps to the maturity years, you will not find a deeper human love then that of a good mother. Honoré de Balzac said "The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness."

6. Temporary blessing- I have recently seen a funeral of a mother, and the pain in her children's heart moved me profoundly. I realized more than ever that to have a mother is a temporary blessing, the more you have her around, the more blessed you are. However, sometimes the more we have that fortune, the more we get used to it, take it for granted, forgetting to appreciate this unique human being, whom we can call "mother". The beautiful bouquets of flowers from the funeral don't make up for times when we could have done that while she was alive and well, wishing to enjoy the beauty of the flowers showered with our love.

As Washington Irving said" A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts." It is indeed a great loss to lose your mother...

In His Bible, God Himself also commands "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." The consequences of not doing so were really serious:"Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death." Obviously God meant what He said and to show respect to your parents, mother respectively, was a must and not an option...or else...

Mother’s Love is God’s Top Priority

It is my opinion that when it comes to God’s priorities, He places addressing Mother’s prayers for their children at the top of the list. That doesn’t always mean that everything turns out perfect for “the children” because we as children do have our free agency and we did choose to come to this earth to experience certain lessons that may be painful for ourselves as well as our Mothers. This is where, no matter how hard it may be, trusting that God knows what is best is the only way to face the more difficult times Mothers face with their children.

A Mother’s Love creates Miracles

This I know without a doubt—a Mother’s love and her prayers for her children continually result in miracles that cannot be explained by anyone on this earth. A Mother’s concerns are felt by her children, and those concerns and undying love do make a huge difference in children’s lives because:

  • A Mother’s love can heal a child miraculously when there is no hope medically!
  • A Mother’s love does open a child’s heart so the child is able to see the lower-energy that comes with harmful choices!
  • A Mother’s love sometimes is the only thing that opens a child’s heart so they can see themselves as a young person deserving self-respect.
  • A Mother’s love “fixes” stuff that NO ONE else can fix!
  • A Mother's love NEVER Stops

A Mother’s Love is Always here no matter what we think or how we act

Our Mother’s love is what makes us realize that no matter how poor our choices are, she truly does not give up on us. Oh yeah, she may be very disappointed in some of our choices, but that does not mean she gives up on us. And, even if she says, out of extreme frustration, “I give up”--trust me that deep down she never gives up! That my friends, is exactly how God views all of us! No matter how bad we mess up, he like our Mothers, never truly give up on us.

So, if you are a Mother, please use your God-given power to love your children unconditionally. Your child, no matter what their age is, always needs to feel your powerful love for them, and they need you to love them always no matter what they choose to do in life. Again, I promise you that if you ALWAYS send love to your child, you will make a difference in their life.

I am NOT yet a mother because, I am still studying and continue my college to pursue my career in my life. I know it is not easy to become a mother if not yet ready. With my age of 20, I know that I am not yet ready. That's why I choose to continue searching and studying so that, I can give the best I can for my children in the future. I am so blessed that I have a mother named MAMA AGNES. She is an ever loving and very supportive mother I ever meet. My MAMA AGNES really knows the best for me and for my two sisters.

Even my father is always out of my world because, he has many things to do and many times he forgot me. He even forgot to march and with me during my graduation day. But, thanks my mother is always with me. Her overflowing love makes me happy.

For my mother, I really salute you MAMA AGNES. Thank you so much for everything and I love you so much. When you will get old, I will take care of you and I will give you the best I can only to make you happy together with my father and sisters. You are my life and my everything.

Love,
Mayhadiel

NCLEX Test Information

You should answer NCLEX exam questions using “book” knowledge and not practical experience. On the NCLEX hospitals operate on massive budgets and no expense is spared to provide proper care. NCLEX test writers are covering all their bases and focus on patient care that is sometimes unrealistic in today’s healthcare world. Generally, the correct answer is the answer that identifies the safest approach. It may not be the fastest or the best, but it is the safest. The old medical slogan of “Do No Harm” applies to NCLEX test takers. NCLEX test writers are trying to make sure that you are competent and recognize that safety is the key.

Another key point on reviewing for the NCLEX, is know your normal laboratory data ranges. Lab test results on the NCLEX will not be flagged with an asterisk if the number is outside of normal ranges. NCLEX test takers must memorize the basic lab values. Focus on the blood gas values. These values in particular can be complicated. If you do not remember the normal ranges you will have no chance of answering lab value questions on the NCLEX. Many times these abnormal values will require further assessment.

It is also important to note that notifying the physician or contacting other health care workers is not the correct answer in many cases on the NCLEX. Remember the guidelines: Assess, Assess, Assess. Choose answers that require further assessment before contacting someone else on the NCLEX questions. Basically, collect more data and factual information before calling in other healthcare professionals.

Finally, think safety with all types of patient care on the NCLEX. If equipment breaks down and the patient is in trouble, work on solving the patient’s problems before getting someone else to fix the equipment. Let maintenance deal with the equipment mess and focus on getting the patient in a safe environment. The NCLEX is attempting to determine competencies related to all of the above situations.

NCLEX Format

Note: The NCLEX Exam is offered by Pearson VUE. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing has partnered with Pearson VUE to deliver the NCLEX exam. Pearson VUE offers both the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN exams.

The NCLEX CAT testing format stands for a computer adaptive testing format. The computer during the NCLEX test will give you harder questions if you answer a question correctly or easier questions if you answer a question incorrectly. The first question on the NCLEX will be below the baseline required passing score. Consequently, a graph could be constructed using questions as points on the graph. The points above and below the passing baseline contribute to your overall testing score. The NCLEX test attempts to match you with questions that are at your level of nursing knowledge and understanding.

The NCLEX does not time each question presented in the CAT format. You are allowed to answer each question without time constraints. However, the NCLEX does have a test taking time of 5 hours.

Question 1: What is the maximum amount of time allowed to take the NCLEX?
Answer: 5 hours

Question 2: How do I prepare for the CAT format on the NCLEX?
Answer: Allow each question a reasonable amount of time and thought. Treat each question with the same level of difficulty. Don’t be scared if questions are getting “easier,” and you think that you are falling below the passing baseline of difficulty.

Question 3: What is the maximum amount of time that I could spend on each question on the NCLEX?
Answer: If you take the maximum number of questions a safe time would be around 1 minute per question on the NCLEX.

Question 4: What study aides have you found that help you understand the format better?
Answer: The link on the right of this page offers valuable help with the NCLEX format.

Question 5: What if the CAT format offers questions beyond the minimum number required to pass?
Answer: Keep taking the test and don’t get nervous. You still have the opportunity to do well and pass.

NCLEX Medical Terminology Review

Understanding the medical terminology used on the NCLEX should be a top priority when preparing for the NCLEX. Medical terms can sometimes be confusing due to the use of medical abbreviations.

If you are unable to understand the medical terminology used on the NCLEX then you will have poor chance of picking the correct answer. Depending on your clinical rotations you may also be more familiar with certain medical terms in a specific area of nursing. Generally, nurses that have the broadest experience with medical terminology will have a better understanding to answer questions that contain complex medical terminology on the NCLEX test.

Take time to review the following abbreviations on the NCLEX test as well as a more thorough list as found in the NCLEX study guide linked to the right hand side of this page.

ADH - antidieuretic hormone
AML - acute myelogenous leukemia
APC - atrial premature contraction
ASD - atrial septal defect
BPH - benign prostatic hypertrophy
BUN - blood, urea, nitrogen
Ca - calcium
CA - cancer
CAPD - continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis
CC - chief complaint
CPK - creatine phosphokinase
CRP - C-reactive protein
DIFF - differential blood count
DOE - dyspnea on exertion
D/W - dextrose in water
ECT - electroconvulsive therapy
ESRD - end stage renal disease
FUO - fever of undetermined origin
GH - growth hormone
GSC - glascow coma scale
Hg - mercury
HLA - human leukocyte antigen
Hz - hertz
ICS - intercostal space
IPG - impedance plethysmogram
JRA - juvenile rheumatoid arthritis

Practicing nurses have the luxury of being able to look up medial abbreviations and definitions before making patient care decisions. However, the NCLEX test does not allow that option. If you are confused by the medical terminology on the NCLEX, you will not be able to use a medical dictionary for reference purposes.

NCLEX Preparation

Assuming you've done thorough NCLEX review using a good NCLEX study guide, the most important thing that you can do preparing for the NCLEX is not stress out. A score in the 90th percentile is not required to pass the NCLEX test. You only have to show a minimum level of competency in the field of nursing.

  1. Begin your preparation by sending in your application to the board of licensure.
  2. Then schedule with the Chauncey Group for the exam. Finally, you will be sent authorization to test (ATT).
  3. Next set-up a time that works for you and show up with all the required documents at the testing center for the NCLEX. If you are recently married with a name change, bring your marriage license. You may not need it, but if you did it could cause you to miss your testing time.

**The testing center will require at least 2 forms of identification to allow you to take the NCLEX test.

Don’t make the mistake of altering hair color or facial hair prior to the exam. Your picture has to match the application picture. You will also have to be thumb printed to take the NCLEX. In addition, bring a drink and some snack food for your testing break and wear layered clothing. Students that take the NCLEX in shorts and a tee shirt may find the testing center unbearably cold and be unable to concentrate.

NCLEX-RN vs. NCLEX-PN

The differences between NCLEX RN review and NCLEX PN review aren't that great. One of the bigger differences between the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN is the number of questions. Please review the following chart:

NCLEX-RN

NCLEX-PN

Minimum Number of Questions

75

85

Maximum Number of Questions

265

205

Both of these tests require the same basic understanding of nursing practice and knowledge. The NCLEX-RN questions and the NCLEX-PN questions are presented with four multiple choice answer scenarios. In some cases, the NCLEX is using a more difficult question format that requires multiple right answers to be selected. However, the material that is covered is the same.

NCLEX-RN vs. NCLEX-PN

On the NCLEX-RN nursing students are required to concentrate for a longer period of time due to the higher number of questions. If the computer doesn’t turn off at the minimum number of questions, continue to answer each question in a reasonable amount of time. Do not begin to rush through the questions, because you may have to answer the maximum number of questions on the exam. Anticipate going the distance and concentrating on each question.

Obviously, some of the questions related to delegation of responsibility are different between these exams. Registered nurses will be asked to assign tasks to practical nurses and nursing assistants while prioritizing their patients. Likewise practical nurses will be asked questions that require assigning tasks to nursing assistants and requesting more assistance from registered nurses.

Many of the study guides on the market have questions that help understand the delegation of responsibility task with nursing.

NCLEX Testing Recommendations

  1. Watch out for the words: except, always and not in all NCLEX questions.
  2. Answer each question. You are not penalized for taking an educated guess.
  3. Get a good night’s sleep before the NCLEX.
  4. Wear layered clothing to the exam.
  5. Practice with a watch and bring a watch to the test.
  6. Study for each material section of the NCLEX individually.
  7. If you extremely weak in one area of content focus on that area.
  8. Don’t cram for the NCLEX. Read over a good practice study guide at least one week in advance.
  9. Stay away from negative talk about the NCLEX with other students.
  10. Know the route to the testing center,
  11. Double check that you have the appropriate ID prior to the NCLEX test.
  12. Work through several practice tests prior to the exam.

LOCATION

The province of Leyte is in eastern Visayas. It is bounded by Carigara Bay in the north, San Juanico Strait and Leyte Gulf in the east, the Visayas Sea and Ormoc Bay in the west, and Southern Leyte in the south.

THE LAND

The Central Cordillera, which runs from north to south, divides the province into the broad Leyte Valley on the east and the Ormoc Valley on the west. Two smaller mountain systems form the northwest and northeast corners. The Northwestern Highlands run north from Ormoc Bay and Northeastern Highlands drop to San Juanico Strait. The peaks of the Cordillera are extinct volcanoes, with Mt. Lobi the highest at 1,349 m. The province has no distinct dry or wet season; rainfall is more or less evenly distributed throughout the year.

A BRIEF HISTORY

In 1521, Magellan sailed form the island of Homonhon, Samar, to the island of Limasawa, Leyte, where he entered into a blood compact with Rajah Kolambu on March 29. On Easter Sunday, March 31, Fr. Pedro de Valderama celebrated the first Mass in the Philippines. In February 1543, the Spanish navigator Roy Lopez de Villalobos named Leyte "Filipina," after Prince Philip of Spain. The name was later applied to the whole archipelago. Leyte was under the jurisdiction of Cebu in the early years of Spanish rule.

In 1735, it became a politico-military province, with Samar under its jurisdiction. Samar and Leyte were separated in 1768. The first capital of Leyte was Carigara, then Palo, Tanawan, and finally, Tacloban. The province of Leyte was created under Act No. 2711 on March 10, 1917.

During the liberation of the Philippines from the Japanese in World War II, American troops led by General Douglas Mac Arthur and Commonwealth President Sergio Osmena landed in Palo, Leyte, on October 20, 1944 and announced the re-establishment of the Philippine government. On May 22, 1959, by virtue of Republic Act No. 2227, the old province of Leyte was divided into the present Leyte and Southern Leyte provinces.

THE PEOPLE

The central mountains have affected the province's languages and cultural orientations. Leytenos on the east speak Waray while those on the west speak Cebuano.

COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

The plains and valleys are fertile, producing hemp, copra, corn, rice, tobacco, bananas, papayas and pineapples. The swamps teem with nipa and mangrove and the mountains yield rattan and timber. Tacloban is the main port of shipment. Large-scale industries include processing industrial lime and phosphate fertilizer, producing copper, and manufacturing coconut oil. They are dependent on the energy supplied by a geothermal power plant in Tongonan. Small-scale industries are food processing, handicrafts, metalcrafts, and ceramics. Substantial forest reserves support an important logging industry. Leyte Gulf, Carigara Bay, and the Samar Sea are rich fishing grounds.

Lyrics of God Gave Me You – Bryan White

For all the times I felt cheated, I complained
You know how I love to complain
For all the wrongs I repeated, though I was to blame
I still cursed that rain
I didn’t have a prayer, didn’t have a clue
Then out of the blue
God gave me you to show me what’s real
There’s more to life than just how I feel
And all that I’m worth is right before my eyes
And all that I live for though I didn’t know why
Now I do, ’cause God gave me you
For all the times I wore my self pity like a favorite shirt
All wrapped up in that hurt
For every glass I saw, I saw half empty
Now it overflows like a river through my soul
From every doubt I had, I’m finally free
I truly believe
God gave me you to show me what’s real
There’s more to life than just how I feel
And all that I’m worth is right before my eyes
And all that I live for though I didn’t know why
Now I do, ’cause God gave me you
In your arms I’m someone new
With ever tender kiss from you
Oh must confess
I’ve been blessed
God gave me you to show me what’s real
There’s more to life than just how I feel
And all that I’m worth is right before my eyes
And all that I live for though I didn’t know why (didn’t know why)
Now I do (I finally do), ’cause God gave me you (God gave me You)
God gave me you

Lyrics of The Prayer ~ Josh Groban – Celine Dion

I pray You’ll be our eyes,
and watch us where we go,
and help us to be wise
in times when we don’t know.

Let this be our prayer
when we lose our way:

Lead us to a place,
Guide us with Your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe.

La luce che Tu dai (The light that You give us)
I pray we’ll find Your light
Nel cuore resterĂ  (will stay in our hearts)
And hold it in our hearts
A ricordarci che (reminding us that…)
When stars go out each night
L’eterna stella sei (You are the everlasting star).

Nella mia preghiera (In my prayer).
Let this be our prayer
Quanta fede c’è (there’s so much faith)
When shadows fill our day:

Lead us to a place,
Guide us with Your grace,
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.

Sognamo un mondo senza piĂ¹ violenza (We dream [of] a world without more violence)
Un mondo di giustizia e di speranza (A world of justice and of hope).
Ognuno dia la mano al suo vicino (Everyone give your hand to your neighbor),
Simbolo di pace e di fraternitĂ  (Symbol of peace and brotherhood)

La forza che ci dai (The strength You give us)
We ask that life be kind
Ăˆ il desiderio che (is the wish that)
And watch us from above.
Ognuno trovi amore (everyone may find love)
We hope each soul will find
Intorno e dentro a sè (around and within himself)
Another soul to love.

Let this be our prayer
(Let this be our prayer)
Just like every child
(Just like every child)
Needs to find a place:

Guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.

E la fede che (And the faith that)
Hai acceso in noi (You have lit inside us)
Sento che ci salverĂ  (I believe will save us).
