About Me

Lord, fill me each morning with Your constant love so that, I may glad and sing all my life. Give me happiness as much as the sadness that You gave me during all my years of misery. I am just like a weed that sprout in the morning then dry and die up in the evening. Life is so short. In that sense, help me to fulfill my mission on earth. Please, give the grace of forgiveness so that I can forgive others. Please help me to make others happy so that, I can make you happy too. Lord, I know that You are calling me to love, to serve and to be happy!

ONE FRIEND

I always thought you were the best
I guess I always will.
I always felt that we were blessed,
And I feel that way, still.

Sometimes we took the hard road,
But we always saw it through.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.

Sometimes the world was on our side;
Sometimes it wasn't fair.
Sometimes it gave a helping hand;
Sometimes we didn't care.

'Cause when we were together,
It made the dream come true.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.

Someone who understands me,
And knows me inside out.
And helps keep me together,
And believes without a doubt,

That I could move a mountain:
Someone to tell it to.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.

'Cause when we were together,
It made the dream come true.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.

Someone who understands me,
And knows me inside out.
And helps keep me together,
And believes without a doubt,

That I could move a mountain:
Someone to tell it to.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.

"The Day You Went Away"

Well I wonder could it be
When I was dreaming 'bout you baby
You were dreaming of me
Call me crazy, call me blind
To still be suffering is stupid after all of this time

Did I lose my love to someone better
And does she love you like I do
I do, you know I really really do

Well hey
So much I need to say
Been lonely since the day
The day you went away
So sad but true
For me there's only you
Been crying since the day
The day you went away

I remember date and time
September twenty second
Sunday twenty five after nine
In the doorway with your case
No longer shouting at each other
There were tears on our faces

And we were letting go of something special
Something we'll never have again
I know, I guess I really really know

The day you went away
The day you went away
Why do we never know what we've got 'til it's gone
How could I carry on
The day you went away
Cause I've been missing you so much I have to say
Been crying since the day
The day you went away

The day you went away
The day you went away

The Breathtaking Journey

The Breathtaking Journey

Mayhadiel R. Zaballero

"Ikaw na ang bahala Lord! Kaya ko ni!!!", words coming from the mouth of my best Ate Elay.

Nobody expects that an ordinary, sexy, beautiful, big hips, big buttocks, friendly, positive thinker, and the best ate I've ever meet becomes a soldier!

In just a sudden moment, like a flash of the lighting and thunderbolt.... People in our barrio are so amazed when she returns as a fresh graduate soldier after six months of training in Manila.

Everybody knows how difficult it is to join the soldier training. In God's grace she did it and succeed the breathtaking journey in her life. Run....... Where??? To the battle field to protect God's creation and save mankind!

Well, I knew something about my Ate Elay because, we grew in a beautiful and fresh mountain; we called it "Barangay Libertad". I called her Ate because, she is older than I am. The best thing I learned from her is being faithful to God. One time her mama left her because, her brother undergone the operation at Provincial Hospital in Cagayan. It is still fresh in my mind; under the bright moon, fresh night and inside our small nipa and bamboo house together with my sister Injang- she taught us to sing the "LOVE OF JESUS" song while, mama was busy burning the wood to cook our dinner. I felt the essence of being the children of God at that moment and I missed it until this time. You know what, every time I miss it; I just keep singing the "LOVE OF JESUS" song because, it's so special for me. In fact in that simple song I can rewind the innocent moment of my life together with my sister and my Ate Elay.

Now, we are in our different fields, struggling to survive in this wonderful yet, cruel world! But, I know in the end together we will make the difference for the goodness of all humankind and above all all for the Lord God.

"LORD IKAW NA ANG BAHALA! KAYA NAMO NI!", my revised words?
